Oversize file includes panoramic photographs of Junior Farmers' trips to Royal Winter Fair, Toronto, Ont., Nov. 1929, 1930-1932 as guests of the Ontario Dept. of Agriculture; 2 identified photographs (b&w, 19 x 23 cm. mounted on sheet 41 x 27 cm.) of Junior Farmers and Junior Farm Women war effort.

Following six weeks short courses in York, Peel, Durham and Middlesex Counties in 1914, Junior Farmer Improvement Associations were formed. A year later, Junior Institutes came into being. Many of these clubs banded together as County Junior Farmer and Junior Institute Associations. The Junior Farmers' Association of Ontario was organized in April 1944.
